During this engaging, interactive session, Melissa gives a tour of her office—including her Idea Board, manuscript graveyard, and bookshelves full of research materials—and answers questions students have prepared in advance. Students also have an opportunity to share their informational writing projects and discuss the challenges they face as writers with Melissa. This program works especially well when students are in the middle of their informational writing unit.
